QZ to start up for Fall September 17th!

Hey all! We have all had a busy summer and due to Noise Permit, Heritage Festival, etc., we have not had a consistent schedule so wanted to let you all know that all will be back up and running September 17th! See you there!

June 25th: Homemade Stickers

We made queer-themed homemade stickers to jazz things up! Dinner was breakfast with a big selection of cereals, yum.

June 18th: HARC

The HIV and AIDS Resource Center came to do a focus group with us – unfortunately, we didn’t realize until they got here that they could only use folks 18 and up. We watched more Noah’s Arc in the meanwhile! Thanks, HARC, for the pizzas.

June 11th: No QueerZone

Ozone House is closed for Founder’s Day – see you folks next week!

May 14th: Transgender Talk and Noah’s Arc

Jack talked to the group about transitioning, and after discussion and Q&A, the group watched the next few episodes of Noah’s Arc, a LOGO TV show about gay and bisexual men of color.

May 7th: Button Night

Karyn and Jack brought their button makers and everyone made awesome pins and ate the wonderful food donated by a volunteer. Thanks, Kristy!
